Clifford Dale Swift, 56, was born January 28, 1965 at Lawton Indian Hospital to Franklin Dale and Rochelle (Standing) Swift. He gained his wings on December 17, 2021 at Comanche County Memorial Hospital in Lawton, OK. Clifford grew up at Gracemont, OK most of his life. He was a proud member of the Wichita Affiliated Tribe and the last youngest full blood Wichita member.

Clifford married the love of life, Tina Lynn Chatkehoodle in 1983. They moved to Anadarko where he worked for the Wichita Tribe in Food Distribution. He worked his way up to serve as warehouse supervisor for 31 years. Clifford continued to work until the time of his death. He met a lot of people there through work and outside of work.

He was a Christian man and a strong believer in the Lord. His passion was playing the drums at his church, Rock Spring Indian Baptist Church. He never turned down an opportunity to play drums or wherever groups needed him, sing gospel hymns. Clifford had a birthday gospel singing for his mother, which now is an Annual Birthday Gospel singing event held in June. He enjoyed the annual gospel singing every year. His hobbies were watching the NFL, wrestling, and any kind of college sport. Clifford loved the bands Zapp and Gap, however mainly listened to gospel music. He will be missed because he never met a stranger and would always help those in need.

He is preceded in death his father, Franklin Dale Swift; sister, baby girl Swift, his grandparents, Frank and Eunice Swift, and Rev. George and Sadie Barnum Ross Standing.

Clifford is survived by his mother, Rochelle Standing Swift of Gracemont, OK; his wife, Tina Chatkehoodle of the home; daughter, Mylie Nicole Swift of the home; sons, Lawrence Swift and wife, Paula Orduna, of Anadarko, OK; Derrick Chatkehoodle and wife, Jennifer, of Sperry, OK; and Allen Paul Chatkehoodle of Tulsa, OK; granddaughter, Lacy Ro Swift; amd special grandson/sidekick always with grandpa, Tikie June Swift. He is also survived by grandsons, Joshua Lawrence Swift Jr. and Greyson Dean Swift; special sisters, Kathy Vasquez and husband, Joe, of Anadarko, OK; Ginger Anaotubby of Anadarko, OK; Carol Joy Whiteshield Yater of Hamilton, OH; Rose Horsechief and husband Tony Mejia of Anadarko, OK; Johnetta Horsechief and companion, Mike Paddlety, of Anadarko, OK; Terri Brown Parton of Anadarko, OK; Beth Parker and husband, Bruce Birch, of Gracemont, OK; special brothers, Rex Hailey, Kenny Whitewolf and the Rosin brothers; his mother-in-law, Sandra Chatkehoodle of Carnegie, OK; as well as a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Pallbearers included James Allen, Micheal Greer, Jr. Williams, Rex Hailey, Kenny Whitewolf, Bruce Birch, Kennth "Moose" Stephenson, Vernon "Bullet" Stephenson, James Hugar Standing and Matthew Chatkenhoodle.

Visitation was from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, December 21, 2021, and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at Ray and Martha’s Funeral Home, Anadarko, OK.

Funeral services were at 11 a.m. on Thursday, December 23, 2021, at the Wichita Tribal Community Building, Anadarko, OK. A Wake in his honor was held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, December 22, 2021, at the Wichita Tribal Community Building, Anadarko, OK. Interment was at Rock Springs Cemetery, Anadarko, OK. Services were under the direction of Ray & Martha's Funeral Home - Anadarko, OK.
